The jailbreak community has been patiently waiting for a new jailbreak for a very long time, however the wait could finally be over. The 3uTools website has posted a picture of their invitation to the MOSEC Mobile Security Conference. These invitations have apparently been sent by the Pangu jailbreak team to many security researchers within the community. The conference is being held in Shanghai China with Pangu playing a main part in it.

It is very possible, but not in any way confirmed, that Pangu could decide to release their iOS 9.2.1 – 9.3.3 jailbreak at the event. It would be the perfect opportunity to get a lot of publicity for the tool and would certainly raise a lot of excitement within the jailbreak community.

Apple is yet to release a final version of iOS 9.3.3 to the public which could patch any exploit released at the event. Hopefully Apple will get iOS 9.3.3 out of beta and a final version released before Pangu decide to release the jailbreak.

Try not get too excited just yet though. As I said before, this is not in any way confirmed. All of this is based on speculation. Pangu may or may not release a jailbreak on July 1st. All we can do is hope and pray that the long wait for a jailbreak finally comes to an end soon.
